We are a Christian-based company, and we give God all the glory. Through our faith in Him, this is what He has made possible. We are grateful to be here and ready to serve, carrying out our work under His hedge of protection.

Blue Angels Security was founded by Josh Braden in 2020 as Saint Michael’s Security and rebranded as Blue Angels in 2026. What began as a hope and a vision has grown from years of experience supporting other companies into an independent firm dedicated to a more hands-on, relationship-driven approach. We are not here for ourselves—we exist to serve our clients. Our goal is to be a true one-stop resource that elevates the standard of professional security and public-service support.

Josh Braden brings more than 15 years of law-enforcement experience. He began as a patrol officer, advanced to the rank of Sergeant, and later served his hometown as Chief of Police. During his tenure as Chief, he entered contract police work and discovered a calling that extended beyond a single jurisdiction. He wanted to expand the reach of public service. After years of performing this work with other organizations and seeing the full range of what could be delivered, he chose to build something of his own.

That commitment runs deep in his family. One of six siblings—four brothers and two sisters—Josh comes from a household dedicated to public service. All four brothers serve as officers in different cities, while both sisters work as nurses. Their father served in the military, and their mother spent her career as a nurse, later teaching and certifying young people as CNAs before retiring. Public service is a family tradition, and it continues with pride.

Collectively, the team brings well over 100 years of combined experience. We offer a full spectrum of military- and law-enforcement-acquired skills—from high-level operational capabilities down to the simple courtesy of assisting an elderly person across the street. In addition to providing these services, we maintain qualified instructors across many of the disciplines we offer. Our capabilities include armed and unarmed security services, off-duty law enforcement support, traffic control management, certified hostage negotiators, forensic man trackers, and firearms instruction, among others.

Blue Angels Security is committed to supporting a wide range of needs and circumstances. In everything we do, we keep GOD first. With FAITH in Him and under His hedge of protection, we strive to serve with excellence.

Originally from Union City, Tennessee, I am a proud Tennessee native and attended the University of Tennessee at Martin. I served five years in the U.S. Army as an 11B infantryman, with experience working alongside special operations. Consistent weapons and medical training with active-duty personnel in the SOF community keeps me well-suited for Protective Security Detail (PSD) roles in high-threat or sensitive environments. My civilian professional career includes two years as an IT Project Manager and six years as a Project Manager in multi-family construction, which my portfolio exceeds over $300 million and encompasses more than 2,000 apartment and condominium units. In 2022, I successfully divested my ownership stake in a security and traffic control startup, subsequently founding a company alike that same year. In 2024, I divested ownership in my wood-framing company and in 2026 I seemingly merged my company with Blue Angels Security.
